D2 Error loading java

vorty40

Hi everybody

I just installed D2 4.5 on a content server 7.2 installation.

After providing credentials for connection i have an error message that says:

Error loading java

Could not load applet. Please check that a supported version of Java is installed on this machine and that Java is enabled in this browser.

I saw here it is often caused by a 32-bit java on a 64-bit os, but everything seems ok to me:

My environnement variables:

And then my D2 "about"

I don't understand what's wrong with java....

Hi

This error can happen if you use 64-bit Java with a 32-bit IE or 32-bit java with a 64-bit IE.

You need to have a 32-bit Java with a 32-bit IE or a 64-bit Java with a 64-bit IE. Otherwise you run into compatibility issues.
