contents in ifs y:drive disappearing

hi
i have installed teamsite 6.5 on windows 2000 sp4 server and the contents in the ifs y: drive does not appear and appears on restarting the machine but again disappears in few minutes.
can any one suggest the solution for this.

You should check:

- are all Iwov services still running?
- your windows event log (Event Viewer)
- your teamsite logfiles: iw-home\local\logs\iwtrace.log & iwserver.log
- your license with the clt tsisvalid.exe

If these contain messages that you don't understand please add them to this post.

Please post any error messages you see in the iwserver.log and iwtrace.log. That would help diagnose the problem more.

shud i increase the virtual memory for all drives or only for ifs y: drive??

i think the problem is not with the submit.cfg and autoprivate.cfg

Hi,

you problem is this:

"Your system has run low on virtual memory (96 Mb is available)"

Below 100MB Teamsite will shutdown itself to prevent fatal data loss.

You should check:
- the size of your physical memory
- the size of your virtual memory
- memory usage of non-teamsite processes on the same machine.

If that fails I suppose your best bet is to contact Iwov-support.

Hi Ron. When you say TeamSite will shutdown itself, does that include rebooting the server? I have high memory and disk utilization problem lately, too, and found out that someone changed back the initial and maximum page file size. I changed it per instructions to be the same for both quite some time ago. I will change it back, but I'm curious if it is TeamSite causing the spontanious reboots.

The memory, disk space and other threshold parameters are specified in iw.cfg file. If any one of them exceeds above the threshhold TeamSite will deactivate the store, TeamSite services will be still runing. TeamSite does not reboot the system when it happens.
