How to know TS version from iw.cfg if license_key parameter is not present

Hi all,

I have a iw.cfg for some version of TS . 'license_key' parameter is not present in that iw.cfg . Is there any other way to know for what version of TS this iw.cfg is by just looking at the iw.cfg file ?

If there was 'license_key' parameter present then we could easily find out the teamsite version ( since TS version is also one of the parameter of license_key )

Why would you ever need to do that ??

in TS56.5 SP2 there's no licence entry needed in iw.cfg, perhaps you've an TS6.5 SP2 system (if so, there's a license file named /iw-home/tev/TS.lic)?
I think, there's no other value in iw.cfg, which contains the TS version (except you add some commentary lines :-)

Hmmm, we are running TS 6.5 but no license file in the /iw-home/etc... perhaps this is because we upgraded from 5 to 6.5??

The seperate license file was adde in 6.5 SP2. So when you add SP2 you will need to generate a new license.

But there is no TS.lic file in 6.1. Where do i search for license key in 6.1??
