Can we preserve r_object_id of object associated with contents while migrating from 6.7 to 7.2 Conte

Dear All,

Can we preserve r_object_id of object associated with contents while migrating from 6.7 to 7.2 Content Server?

With DFC API or DFS, while migrating content, object ID will get changed.

So If  preserving is possible, can someone highlight on the best practice approach for doing so.

    You can use in-place upgrade (after cloning) and object ids will be preserved.

    As long as the objects aren't re-created [which is the case with dump and load, i.e.], you should be able to preserve them, as indicated like in-place upgrade.
