xcp 2.2 manual activity single user auto acquire task while viewing

Hi All,

A manual activity assigned to the Supervisor/Single user auto acquire the task while clicking on the task list link(or) right click viewing the task. how to avoid this.

Manual activity setting variable SUPERVISOR with single user value in it.

This is the OOTB behaviour and cannot be changed unfortunately. What is your use case for assigning a task to a user who might not action it?

You can create custom action and then chain Acquire task action

Remove default navigation from result list. and generate task url and navigate to that task url by clicking on result list cell... So this time you can find the task without acquired. For generating task url use TensionFunctions.jar

Note. Small bug is there for generating task url in TensionFunctions. Task url will genarate only if your length of application namespace 3. Please make it dynamic else hard code the namespace length properly.

Thanks for pointing that hardcoded namespace out - I will fix it in the next release.

Hi,

Reviving an old thread but I have the reverse problem. The auto generated hyperlink correctly auto-acquires the task. The newly generated URL does not. I need that URL to do the same since I generate an icon in the result list that opens the task in a new tab. Is there a parameter that I can add to also auto-acquire the task? Or is that not possible when generating a URL?

onclick of that icon fire the acquire action and open the task url on completion of acquire action
