Error in inserting msoffice file

sample.doc could not be added: Exception in Primitive {10A442AE}! Reason = Unspecified error, Message = QuickTime, exception in process.
ERROR: Job {C07B760A-1CD2-48E0-B5EE-1D37CC16C4F3} Setting parameters in primitive QuickTime Decoder. RC = The operation failed. Check the log output for details

Black Ice printer is installed. I was able to insert pdf files.

Good. For those who may be mystified by the error, an unknown file is tried by a sequence of possible image decoders until it hits the one it expects. When QuickTime is malfunctioning, it occasionally tries to "claim" files it should not be handling.

One test to make sure it is not file relate is to test using an insertion task with the decoder you expect (doesn't solve the problem but narrows it down!).
