Restrict number of forms being displayed

In TS6.5 when I choose to create a new form, the pop up window which opens displays all the available form.

Can I retrict this to show only the forms which are available in the current branch (as it was in TS5.5)?

IWOV has added this as a new feature. From the branch all the forms underneath the same would be displayed. However you can move down the hierarchy upto data category/type to disply that particular form.

If possible please lay down your requirements so that anyone over here can provide you a solution to overcome the issue.

As kaarla said you are Clicking New-> New form entry at the top level ( first folder under templatedata) . Visualize as Teamsite telling you that you have all these templates which one you want to create NEW one from.

Instead just go to the data-type click on it in your left pane and then do new-> new form entry then you can see just one template with fields.

Ok my requirement is that if i am in particular branch then i only want TS to list be all the available data-type in that particular branch.

I should be able to see all child data-types to create a new form.

As per my understanding you are talking about the branch view, ther you cannot view what all data-types are available. I still don't get as where you exactly want the list to be shown? If it is in templatedata then the above mentioned way is correct. If in workflow you need to write some customized script.

Please explain in more detail and if possible, post scrrenshots of where you want the list to be shown when you click what button?

As per performance, better option would be to use the branch regex within templating.cfg.

balderdash - Unless you have a signicantly large number of template types in your system, the "performance cost" of using prune-missing-files is negligable to the point of not being noticable.
