Event Subsystem - Database Storage Requirements?
FurnaceFace
TS 6.5 - SP2
OpenDeploy 6.1
Solaris 2.9
Hello,
I am moving the Event Subsystem from the default Hypersonic database to an Oracle database system and I've been asked the question as to how much disk space will it devour?
I know the hypersonic DB could get quite large but I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with the Event Subsystem and database storage space.
As well, if anyone had any information about the Event Reporting in OpenDeploy 6.1 and it's DB sizing requirements as well it would be greatly appreciated. Ball park figures are great. Am I looking at 1GB, 5GB, 20GB?
Thanks,
/FF

I have the same two questions and was wondering what sizes you decided to go with? Or if anyone else has comments on the size of the dabase implemented in your environment.

Event Subsystem Database - DB2 on UNIX
1. What size database should be used for the TeamSite Event Subsystem? And what is the growth rate?
2. Same question for OpenDeploy. What size database and what is the ratio for growth?
Thanks in advance,
