Removing html entities from keyword extraction

MetaTagger extraction is including html entities such as – for a keywords field. What is the best way to ensure such entities are not included in keyword extraction ?

My initial thought is the use of a custom rack script but I am unsure how to achieve this.

Is it also possible to use a stop word list to avoid entities being included?

We also have this issue. Stopwords doesnt stop it. Does anyone have an answer for this?
