We are using D2 to auto-file documents as they are created and therefore when the first document is created/imported for that folder link, the system also creates the folder tree.
We are about to turn on properties inheritance so that user's can drag and drop into the folder tree (and subject to the correct folder being selected first) inherit those properties onto the documents.
This requires the folder to be in existence first. With auto-linking if the folder has not yet been needed it isn't available to select as location to "drag-drop" to.
Has anyone else come across a need to use auto-filing to enforce the save location but also have a full folder tree built based on the configuration of D2 auto-file rules (i.e. so on first load a complete folder tree is build that is empty of documents)
