Getting DCR path through FORM API

Through IWDCRInfo.getDCRName, we can get DCR name but how to get DCR path and workarea path using FORM API..

IWDatacapture.getDCRPath() is giving object doesn't support error...

It's not working becauze i'm using this code in a validation function which executes before saving the form...

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onSaveValid", validation);

can you tell me what to use so that it gets executed after save.. ?

What is this? Not sure what that is, but IWDatacapture.getDCRPath() should work if you are on 6.5

This can be done with a CallServer() -- seriously, I strongly recommend you spend some good time with the documentation. The FormAPI documentation, in particular.

I'm using callserver and getting error.. I have tried following options..

callServer("/opt/Interwoven/TeamSite/bin/iwgen -t /default/main/DP/DBU/EAST_ASIA/WORKAREA/general_wa/templatedata/general/en/presentation/general.tpl -r /default/main/DP/DBU/EAST_ASIA/WORKAREA/general_wa/templatedata/general/en/data/Arunav_Final_DD_Test /default/main/DP/DBU/EAST_ASIA/WORKAREA/general_wa/html/general/en/content/Arunav_Final_DD_Test.html", parameters, true);

both are giving error..

Yes you can execute any valid command on the server as script is executed when accessed.

Hmm - the article was for 5.5.2 - so it might or might not still be accurate.
I also love the fact that there's an uqualified KB article on the support site suggesting that you modify a "product file" without any kind of caveat about it being overwritten by patches, service packs and/or upgrades ...
