How does "Deleted Items" get emptied?

This is probably a pretty basic question....but how do the items in the "Deleted Items" folder get removed? Do we need to set something up on the server? I just noticed we have a TON of stuff in there.

Select all assets/Select all folders and then Action-delete. or

Right click on "Deleted Items" and delete.

If you're referring to MediaBin, you need to execute it through the MediaBin Enterprise Manager. You should schedule it to run on a recurring basis.
