FireFox Extension works with 6.5 SP2

Ok,

I know this is cheese but I hate switching browsers... so I found this:

It is a firefox extension that seems to work fairly well.

In CC Pro the address bar you have to copy and delete what's there. You can't just re-type the text which is odd, but at least you can switch back between jobs and tasks in a workflow.

Anyway if it works great if it blows up your computer don't cry to me :-D

IE Tab, an extension from Taiwan, features Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.

This extension is derived from the famous extension IE View, but they are quite different.
While IE View always open IE-only pages in newly launched windows of Internet Explorer, IE Tab can open them in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.

Given it's ability to better handle XML, I think that supporting Firefox would be a great improvement.

Hmm - I thought that an alternative for Ektron was coming in 6.7 - but if it is, it's not reflected in the 6.7 documentation.

Cool a replacement to VFE... that would rock! I hate and dislike ektron... but it's a necessary evil :-)

yeah, I think they are allowing for something like either Ektron or any other free javascript editor, in particular, TinyMCE was mentioned. But it will come in 6.7.1, I guess

ummm why can't you ? I have been using Firefox with Teamsite for the last 18 months with no problems at all. The only thing that doesn't work on it is VFE which I prefer not to use anyway.
