Creating an admin user

I need to create an admin user who can create new users and groups , this only works when i create the user as a super user .

is there is a way to create an admin ( but not a super user)  who can create users and groups ???

    Set client capability to sysadim and user privileges to sysadmin.

    i have tried that , but the administration node doesn't appear , it only appear if it is a super user .

    any ideas ???

    You may need to clear app server cache.  I have seen role assignments being cached and only way to reset them is to restart app server.

    I tried that too , but still the Administration node is empty .

    Are you seeing this in DA or Webtop?  Also, verify that you dont have presets set up.  Presets can filter out nodes based on rules you define.

    You will need to create a role first, and add user to the role. Then create an Administrator Access Set, and select role to the Access Set.

    I'm using da 7.2 , i can't find the administrator access node to create an administrator access set .

    how can i create an administrator access set ??

    yes it's a super user , but can't find adminstration access node to create administration access set

    You can try to deploy Documentum\product\7.2\install\DARsInternal\AdminAccess.dar. Clean the cache and restart docbase and app server.

    What is CS and DA version? Can you see Administrator AccessSet node in DA? I will suggest to open a service request with technical support.

    I'm using CS 7.2 , DA 7.2.

    and no i can't see the administrator access set node in DA
