InputAccel database in 6.x and 7.x version

Hello,

Does inputAccel database is requered for inputAccel installation 6.x version ?

And it is not the case starting from 7.x versions ?

In version 6 it is required.

In version 7, it is required only if the following is the case, otherwise it's an optional component.

- reporting

- scale server

- web services

- failover/cluster

- side by side IA Server

- upgrade from 7.x that has IA DB

- upgrade from 6.x

I know in Captiva 7.5, you can install IA server with internal file based "db" that doesnt require RDBMS.
