Should one entry in a category open the form?

If a user has only one form option available, shouldn't the form automatically open when using "New Form Entry"? I'm used to this behavior with workflows, but not as familiar with templates.

Here's the category definition from templating.cfg:

Could it be something with the "locations" element under the "data-type" element or am I just wrong in expecting that functionality?

Yes, that is the way it works in CCPRO as long as you are far enough in the structure. If you are just inside the Branch then, it would give you all the options available to that branch. You're content didn't paste properly, are you locking the DCTs down on a per user or role basis?

I can't get the "code" bit to work properly, but I attached the file to the original post...

There is no restrictions on the form except that it is available in only one branch. The branch is set in the "category" element, but not in the "data-type" element. Should I set it there also?

What else could impact this feature? As it turns out, some of our users are getting the correct functionality, while some aren't. Could roles, group memberships, et al have an affect?

That is correct.

Are the users who are getting more than one DCT option using CCSTD or CCPRO?

Is that the difference between the two groups that are having or not having the issue?

Also, are those users who are having the problem using different workareas than the others?

Can you send a screen print of your structure (expanded branch and other folders) so that I can understand.

Does the file you sent contain the entire contents of your templating.cfg or is there more to it?
