Deployment Completed with Error

Hi All,

I have installed OD 6.0.2 on solaris platform and using linux box server as receiver. While running Deploymnet script using command iwodstart OpenDeploymentTest.xml, i am getting error and files are not being transferred on target server.

Have you ever been able to deploy between these two servers or is this a new setup?

Can you telnet from your Base Server to the deployment port on the Receiver? - e.g.:

telnet 3.235.200.123 20014

Are you going through a firewall that does NAT? If so, have you read the information in the manuals regarding deploying through firewalls?

Lastly, check with Support - you may need to upgrade either your Base Server (6.0.2 - no SP) or your Receiver (6.0.0), or both.

I have tried to connect with receiver from base using telnet. Its let me connected. And its not through firewall.

If I remember correctly the base and receiver have to be the same version to be able to deploy.

While recommended, it's not required - however there have been some incompatibilities with "downrev" deployments that have required patches on one side or the other - best to double-check with Support.

Hi All,

Even i got the same kind of message few days back "Completed with error"

This error comes generally if the target server drive in which OD log files are present e.g ."E drive" is full. In this scenario OD is not able to log any deployment log details due to low space in drive.

Solution: Delete few old log files and make a space in drive.
