event capture destroyFSE
System
Hi,
Just like Tushin, I am trying to capture the DeleteFSE event and execute a file whenever the event is fired. I have configured it as below.
/iw-home/bin/iwat DestroyFSE /iw-home/local/bin/delete_file.ipl
It looks like I haev to place an entry into iw.cfg but don't know the precise syntax to use.

You should probably open a bug report with IWOV Support regarding documentation which has been missing for
years

Logging File System Events
You can configure TeamSite to generate events in the event log whenever a file or directory is created, deleted, renamed, or modified. To enable logging, set any of the following entries in the
[iwserver]
section of the
iw.cfg
configuration file:
Entry in
iw.cfg
Description
log_createfse=yes
Entries are created in the event log whenever a file or directory is created.
log_destroyfse=yes
Entries are created in the event log whenever a file or directory is deleted.
log_renamefse=yes
Entries are created in the event log whenever a file or directory is renamed.
log_modifyfse=yes
Entries are created in the event log whenever a file or directory is copied or written to.
Because these events tend to produce a very large number of entries in the event log, you can prefilter each event type using regular expressions. To perform prefiltering, set
createfse_filter
,
destroyfse_filter
,
renamefse_filter
, or
modifyfse_filter
to a set of double quoted regular expressions. The event is then logged only if the full event line matches any of the regular expressions.
If you write an iwat trigger script based on any of these events, refer to the event names
CreateFSE
,
ModifyFSE
,
DestroyFSE
, and
RenameFSE
.

Hope that helps.
