Documentum Reporting with SSRS

I am wondering, we need a reporting service that will allow us to run reports of file's being ingested into a repository on a specific time frame that we change change for example, last 30 days, 60 days, etc... I have read that documentum has there own (DRS) Documentum Reporting Service, but am wondering if anybody has encountered or has built a reporting like this with Sql Server Reporting Service at all?

Any advice or direction would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Querying the SQL DB for reporting will not work as the data is stored in different tables. You need to build reporting tool from DFC/REST/Client framework layer. There are third party tools available for reporting purpose. Check with your account manager for this.

Also, if you dont use API provided by Documentum, you will also have to apply/evaluate the ACLs against the objects in the repository in addition to joining all the tables where your metadata about those objects are stored.
