Session Timeout when changing Tomcat Context Root

Hi All,

Our WorkSite MP web application is running normally at http://server/worksitemp and I'd like to move it to http://server/.

I've tried to do this by changing the Tomcat root context in server.xml to <Context path="" docBase="worksitemp" debug="0"/> but when logging in I'm immediately logged out with an error logged "Possible SessionSwitch" & "Session Timed Out".

Has anyone else managed to achieve this?

Can you please post your worksitemp.log file (in debug mode) here? I am not sure about this, tomcat has a some special handling for the root web context, I believe. What is the 'webapps/ROOT' folder used for in the default tomcat installation?
