Change domain, but not name.

Our server is part of a domain, but the domain is a sub to another domain... for example teamsite.something.net.. now we are thinking of moving the server from it's current domain xyz to a new domain abc, but the name will remain teamsite.something.net.

So my question is will there be any changes that I need to make to TeamSite for this. We are on 6.5 SP2.

We are using domain users with local groups for authentication as well so the users will say in their same domain.

You may need to get a new license (if the something.net is what's changing)

If you're on Windows (unclear from your post) you may need to do some iwidmap'ing for the local accounts (e.g. Administrator) and local groups (e.g. TeamSite Web Preview)

If the hostname or IP address changes - you may have to find all such references in the various configuration files (mostly iw.cfg, but there may be some others)
