Information about deleted files

I have a business area inquiring about the mysterious deletion of DCRs from their WORKAREA (never submitted to STAGING).

Is there any way to retrieve information on the "who" and "when" these files were deleted from the WORKAREA?

If you have archived the TeamSite logs you should be able to get the information as "who", "when" they deleted the files from the repository by parsing the logs.

You should be able to get this information from iwrlog maybe iwattrib as well.

If the file was never submitted, chances are you will not be able to get this imformation.

However, if you specifically log deletes using something like "log_destroyfse=on" in iw.cfg, this *might* end up in the iwevents.log. Adding this logging will be a performance hit, so success may very.

So the file was created and deleted but no version of the file was submitted ? Then you are SOL. BUt if the file was created, submitted, and then deleted you can find it out.
