I need to dynamically present content to a user based on his/her profile and the preferences he has set (eg: Linux, Mobile Computing etc). I'm using WebSphere Portal Server as the portal engine and TeamSite for content development/publishing. Can I achieve this using TeamPortal? Does Interwoven provide any portlets for this? Any help and pointers greatly appreicated.

You haven't mentioned which version of TS and WSP you are using.
However, if there is a Team Portal connector available for your setup,
this connector will give you a portlet view of TeamSite.

Using this portlet, your users will be able to create and manage content.

Dynamic presentation is what you will need to achieve at your application side, where the content delivered from TS could be transformed as required.

TeamPortal will not provide you this. You need to architect your data and content publishing process in a way that will tag specific content with specific metadata. Then the portelts of your engine will need to render the content accordingly.

TeamPortal portlets will not provide everything you need. The portlets are there to expose WCM (TeamSite) functionality in the portal.

As Greg pointed out, there are a couple of things you need to do. Build the right personalization rules that can be consumed by IBM's Personalization Engine. In TeamSite, tag the content based on the user profile attributes that you want to personalize for - such as Linux, mobile etc. When you deploy the content to the IBM WPS repository, also deploy the metadata and build the right JSP tags in your application JSPs so that when the Portal Server renders the page, it can apply the rules based on the tags and the metadata attached to the content and deliver a personalized view of the content.
