submit workflow doesn't update the icon-status

Running a submit workflow doesn't update the status of locks in the workarea, i.e. the system doesn't provide feedback about its status to the user.
Also, if a file is modified and submitted the icon status is not updated , i.e the icon remains the modified icon and not the submitted. Refreshing the workarea only the icon-status gets updated.

Is the workflow completing ?

Which WF are you using ? Is it set to remove locks ? You can have them keep the locks if desired.

Since TS is a web based app, icons will not change unless a refresh is given, TS will automatically refresh after start of job, but if there is a delay, you will not see the correct icon until a manual refresh.

If a customized wf ... then please check for the lock attribute of the submittask. Also as i am guessing you are using customized one... it does not TS refresh the page on itself.

Thanks , may be I didn't make myself clear. The problem is occurring in the customised Submit workflow only .
The workflow is completing (the modification gets submitted to STAGING) and only the icon status is not reflecting the correct one.

Can anyone give any hints how to give TS Reload/Refresh from the code.

Could you please be more illustrative as how you are calling your workflow and what is happening exactly when your submit task gets transitioned?

Also if possible, please post your wf as an attachement.
