Opendeploy issue

Hi All,
I am trying to deploy the contents of 2 folders in source to the same folder in destination

The issue that i am facing is that the folder properties has 3 property files out of which 2 files get deployed in one deployment and they dont in the next deployment and it alternates this way ie

deployment 1 : all 3 files get deployed
deployment 2 : only 1 file gets deployed
the file permissions on the source side are exactly the same. if i just want to copy the contents of both these folders to the same folder in destination, is there is a specific way in which i can do it ?

The first definition is for a general deployment of assets to the target area.
The second definition is for an explicit sub-directory of the target area.

Are there any files in the first source area that need to also go into that sub-directory (classes) ?

If so - you don't want to have doDeletes enabled for the first definition.
If not - you want to have 'classes' listed as an exclusion (for both source and target sides) for the first definition.

Thanks !!! that solved the issue. However i didnt understand the behaviour ... why would disabling dodeletes in the first deployment ensure that only 2 of the files are deleted once and deployed once ? should the behaviour be the same to all the 3 files in the properties folder ?

I'm too busy to try to answer this coherently right now.
Either someone else will answer it - or you need to take training and/or spend more time reading the manuals.
