TS 6.5
Solaris 9
When configuring tsgroups.xml on windows 2000 server and building the branches using the groups specified in the tsgroups.xml, all works fine. This includes automatic assigning of the group to any new file created via the TS interface. For example, under workarea ABC with TS group ABC associated to it, a user who is a member of TS group ABC can go into the workarea and create a new file (file->new, or via DCT), and the proper group is visible (in this case, TS group ABC).
However, the same structure in Solaris produced a blank group for any new file, preventing other valid users from editing the file.
Any suggestions?

SF,
We're on TS 6.5 (no sp) on Solaris 2.9. I just tried it and it puts my in my Solaris-based primary group when creating a new file through the browser (File->New File). The group gets changed properly when it is submitted through the submit.cfg.
Don't have a Windows-based system to try.
Sorry

Hey chunk,
Thx for the reply. Does your set up by chance put the proper group on before submission? I.e.: all within the context of the workarea?

No. It creates the file with my primary Solaris-based group, which is different than the TeamSite-based group (obviously
).
It only puts the proper group on after submission.
Also, our exact TS version is:
