Setting up LDAP Authentication on Solaris?

Has anyone done this? Can you offer some hints or guidelines? Specifcally What version and patch level do I need to be running on Solaris at a minimum to make this work?

What are you trying to do ? what have you tried ? I did that at another division of yours a couple years ago without any difficulty but that was only for password verification.

The manuals are pretty solid for that, but you can also add roles (unless you are at 6.7 already) which is good.

We are currently using local accounts for authentication and would to be able to pass that off to active directory so we don't have to manage passwords and groups at the local level.
