VFE text/background color

My client would like to set the text/background color
I knew VFE have color option,
and I try, the color only works on VFE itself,
even I view source in VFE, didnt apply any font/color tag into

and can color apply in background too?

css maybe not that best option, because they will have vary color all the time :-(

Yes,

VFE has a background-setting (see cmdbackcolor in the manual) but I doubt whether that should be the best option/practice for you.
