reverse deployment

hi all,

My simple reverse deployment works fine on dev server but on production server it was on "setting up" mode for 5 hours and then i have to cancel the deployment. here is the log :

These are the two things which causing the problem
1)*** Path registry checking is disabled ***
2)***ERROR - Failed writing internal config file E:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\db\.DR/REVERSE_DEPLOYMENT_PROD_TO_TEAMSITE.REVERSE_DEPLOYMENT_PROD_TO_TEAMSITE.ga016a11e.reverse. Got file I/O exception. Detail: E:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\db\.DR\REVERSE_DEPLOYMENT_PROD_TO_TEAMSITE.REVERSE_DEPLOYMENT_PROD_TO_TEAMSITE.ga016a11e.reverse (The system cannot find the path specified)

I am now researching how to resolve these issue.

I basically don't know why you wanted a reverse deployment on to teamsite server, except that there were some clients who wanted their log files to be reported back to folders where they had ftp access to on the teamsite.
As far as i can see you are trying to send deployment information ( log files) from db folder to some destination on teamsite. I am taking into consideration that you have your OD set up right to do so. I would rather suggest to have a copy of the log files in a different folder other than db and try deploying the files to teamsite server from that directory. Please post log files from base and the receiver side( In your case from you destination bax to teamsite box).

Are you reverse deploying from an Unix server to a Windows TeamSite server?

If so, you may have ambiguous file names. I've seen this happen (yesterday, in fact) with 2 files with the same name, different cases - myfile.html and MyFile.html. If this occurs in a nested subdirectory, OD hangs. We had to bounce the OpenDeploy service on our TeamSite server.

If you can, check the OD logs on your web server. It gave me the files that were causing problems.
