We have recently added the 'Edit with MS Word' button to our VF configuration. Some of our clients like it but I feel a vague sense of outrage.

We have managed to successfully clean up the garbage code that Word puts out, but you still can't really see what's going on in Word, so doing some advanced coding is either impossible or an exercise in hair pulling.

Has anyone managed to a configure a button allowing users to edit the VF content locally, within their default html editor, e.g. homesite, DW, textpad. That would be awesome.
