Finish button does not save

Hi All,

For some reasons the Finish button does not save.
How will I force finish to do the onSave before going to wrokflow.

Finish button always prompts for saving if the file was not saved before.
Did you try contacting support for this matter?
Is it only for some specific Form?
What is your installation environment for TeamSite?

If the form was not modified then clicking Finish will not enter your onSave function, it will happily go over to workflow
For some reason this has been deemed as *feature*

So even though theoretically it should fire the onSave event and call your function, it apparently does not.

To bypass this issue, you will need to touch the DCR by using IWDatacapture.setIsModified ()

Depending on your TS version, you may be experiencing a known bug. There are issues with fields that are changed via callouts and I think also with changes to select lists and checkbox fields.

setModified(true) gets activated, when the user does some modifications after the init function completed its own part.

As far as i have experienced, all callouts and inline does all the calculations within the init function.

So better option would be to call the IWDatacapture.setIsModified function, as earlier stated by 'ravio'.

Did you even read Jonathon's post? He was not suggesting a solution, but notifying the poster about a known bug.

Also, callouts and inlines are not associated with init functions. callServer's, yes, but callouts and inlines, no. Inlines are executed before the DCT is rendered. Callouts are invoked when the user clicks on a button within the form.
