How to resolve conflict task

Hi All,

In my task list i am getting this new task and the description is "Files cannot be submitted because there are conflicts. Conflicts can only be resolved by advanced users. Contact your system administrator to correctly configure your system.
"

last comment is "Checked out files prevent submitting"

i am on teamsite 6.5 SP1 and windows platform.

My question is how to resolve the conflict task as i have almost 10 in my task list.

Any help is appreciated.

This could be happening for any of several reasons. Are you an end user? I'm wondering why you couldn't get in touch with a support person at your company who's familiar with the application -- they should know how to resolve this issue.

Get some training.

If you dislike your co-workers, you can overwrite. You should be bigger than they are as well as you may get beaten up.

Assuming you are the administrator/master

go to the workflow, take those tasks,
in the first instance - retry submit.

if that fails, go to the content area where the files exist, select them and their templatedata and unlock the files. Then go back to the workflow and retry submit.

If that fails you can try the overwrite option

If that fails and there are multiple files and only one is causing the problem, detach that file from the task and submit it separately.

If that fails, well that depends on your system. go to the log files and see if there is anything there that tells you why they are not submitting.
