Alternative VFE

we would like to replace VFE with Xstandards Pro (http://www.xstandard.com/page.asp?p=C8AACBA3-702F-4BF0-894A-B6679AA949E6).

Is it possible to replace VFE with Xstandards, if yes how to do it.

Write a callout to it and kick it off. It has been done for TinyMCE (which is now part of TS 6.7.1) but it is certainly not trivial.

Prepare to work a lot on it and write a lot of java.

doing this as a callout is pretty straightforward. I implemented a couple of JavaScript-based edtitors already. The only thing is to implement an image browser, but if one can leave without it, it's not THAT hard.
