Custom VB form and focus

I've programmed a custom command in VB that opens a standard VB form modally ([formname].Show vbModal). Everything works fine, except for the following. If the user selects a different application from the quick launch bar then clicks on the iManage icon, my custom form disappears. The main IM/IW window is visible but not enabled (i.e., doesn't respond to any clicks). Nothing I do seems to bring my custom form back into focus. Any ideas how to fix this?
