I am new to interwoven.I need to pull out data from database and import it into interwoven.Does interwoven supports java apis.If yes,please let me know wheere can I get the javadocs and java sample code.

I just came to know there is something called open api.is it a separate installable or comes default with interwoven.

I think you are looking for CSSDK. If you are new, would be better to have some training before.

OpenAPI is a RMI service and no longer part of teamsite servlet engine.

Depending on your needs, you could use the DataDeploy module which comes with OpenDeploy to move content from a database.

If you would rather build your own custom solution then you would need to use the CS SDK to access it. Documentation and sample code is available on the Interwoven support site (user account required).

From the post I understand the source of your content is a database but what are you planning the output format to be? Will that be plain HTML? Have you considered using Forms?

As already suggested, training would be better to start with such a project.
