How can notify the workflow that task is finished in java?

I have a external task in workflow. The external task call a java application. The java application is work fine and perform all its job, but when I look in the workflow list in the TeamSite UI, it present the task is still active.
Reference to the manual, it said that the external task must notify the workflow that the task is finished. So, could anyone tell me how to do that in java. Thanks!

FYI, JobID, TaskID and Workarea are the three things which by default being passed within each task of a workflow.

In CSSDK api, I can found the CSTask object, I think I can get the task object by this. But, there is not a callback method. How can I do?

Not having done any CSSDK development - all I can do is look at the documentation. I believe the following might be what you're looking for:

You can use the iwcallback CLT to notify TeamSite workflow engine from the java program.

Depending on your version of TeamSite this could be simple or complex. If you have anything before 6.5 SP1, you won't have access to the getClientForTrustedUser method in the CSFactory class, which will cause you some headaches.

Within your external task you need to get a CSClient object using the method above, or hard coding a user name and password to get access to TeamSite (if you are pre 6.5 SP1). From there, get a CSTransitionableTask object and call the chooseTransition method.

That should be all you need.
