This is very easyAdd an external task to get the DCR that created the HTMLAdd a submit task if it is not there.
Thanks for your response. The external task you had mentioned, is that a perl script? Thanks,Vinitha
Hi,Thanks in advance. I have a workflow, which would do the task of deploying the files generated from the dcr to the production server. Now the developers need the additional functionality of automatic submision of the DCR's to the staging area of TeamSite associated with the files being deployed to production site.TS 6.5Windows 2000Thanks,Vinitha
Vinitha,Are the generated files being attached to the workflow after generation? If yes, just add a submit task after that.If not, add an external task (Perl Script) which takes the generated file, attach them to workflow and use iwsubmit CLT to submit the files.
you are giving a WRONG advice. Because, if the workflow takes just some generated content, DCR is not automatically attached (generally speaking, it might be attached by TeamSite automatically in some circumstances, but not always and one should not rely on this fact).
Now the developers need the additional functionality of automatic submision of the DCR's to the staging area of TeamSite associated with the files being deployed to production site.
Thanks Greg for pointing out the concept, however i was just asking if the files being generated (by generate tool or external task) are being attached 'manually' to the workflow?Vinitha: On a more clear point - Are you attaching the generated files to the workflow after generation using any external task....
