Open Deploy Error Receiver

Hi,

I tried to deploy some files from Teamsite server to HTTP Server but OD process retuned something about "Completed with some errors"
I found the following message in log file:
"Receiver ERROR c:\inetpub\wwwroot is not allowed path"

I checked odrcv.xml files on HTTP Server and alloweddirectories tag was filled correctly.

How can I solve it?
Thanks
Carlo

You need to either provide us (or IWOV Support) with your deployment configuration file, your odrcvr.xml config file, and the full deployment log for that failed deployment. The odbase.xml and odnodes.xml might also be needed but probably not.

Ok,
Attached below:

Hi,

Your source and target servers are referenced as 'MYHOSTNAME'.

localNode host="MYHOSTNAME"
...
nodeRef useNode="MYHOSTNAME"

I would suggest to check if the host name in odnodes.xml matches the right server be it on the OD base or receiver.

Hope that helps.

the new message error is:

LIB 00006: 2006-04-27 10:39:26 ERROR: Connection failed: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client for (MyServerName).

how can I solve it?

Thanks

Do you have a node named MyServerName defined in your odnodes.xml file on your Base Server?

I think you need to spend some time taking some training, reading the manuals and/or reading lots of the posts that have been made in this forum in the past - these are pretty basic error messages related to pretty basic configuration settings.
