Automating a nested workflow

I am currently trying the automate the nested workflow.
so for this the code being used is:

....
....

As the conReview.xml(job spec xml) needs to generated at runtime, I am trying to invoke the wft from an external task, prior to the wftask.
The code follows:
my $log = "/usr/local/fisher/cms/TeamSite/local/config/wft/fisher/conReview.xml";
open(LOG,">$log") or die "Could not open $log";
my $wft = TeamSite::WFtemplate->new( template => $workflow);
my $jobfile = $wft->get_workflow();
print LOG $jobfile;

I am unable to achieve through this.

Please let me know, where i am going wrong??

Did any one, implement nested workflow automation.

I'm confused by the line I highlighted above in red - you have a wfttask which is using a job description file which needs to be generated - okay, but you're generating the job description file from a wft in an externaltask prior to wfttask?
I can think of any number of ways to generate a job description file, and frankly, using TeamSite::WFtemplate is probably the last choice I would make.
Is there some reason you can't just use the wft in the wfttask?
Is there some reason you can't just use iwwft_compile.ipl from the externaltask and leave off the wfttask?
Is there some reason you can't create a simplistic template from the wft that can be trivially processed with Perl to replace the variables with their values to create the job description file? (what I generally refer to as a template-workflow as opposed to a workflow-template).

I think you're over-complicating your life by trying to do it the way you are - and I don't think you've read the documentation for WFtemplate sufficiently to understand what it's for and how it works / how it's supposed to be used.
