Invoking Java Program from Workflow

I am trying to execute a java program from workflow as an external task, but i was not able to do so.

Here is the wft command i used to execute 'HelloWorld.java' :

command v = "c:\Product\Interwoven\TeamSite\tools\java\bin\java .exe -classpath c:\Product\solutions HelloWorld"

Also let me know how to get java program end notification when the java program finishes.

Which version of TeamSite? Pre-6.7, you have to write a wrapper for the class to invoke the jre and make sure you have the CLASSPATH set correctly. My understanding of 6.7, having not actually tested this yet, is that you can directly use a java class for an external task and it will run in the context of the util daemon, so you don't have to worry about environment variables and such.
