Simple list of configuration files?

Scenario: A former employee installed TeamSite 6.5 SP2 and OpenDeploy 6.0.2. She left no documentation as to how far along she was in the process. I am now tasked with getting the system up and running.

I'm about to go blind (and mad) trying to ferret out all of the cfg's and xml's, in all of the dir's and sub-dir's, that need to be properly 'adjusted'.

Does anyone have a simple list (hopefully w/ paths) of all configuration files for TS an OD?

You didn't say what OS you're on. For the most part, the installations take care of a good portion of the configuration, but if something fails, concentrate on tracking down the problem in the logs, fixing just the piece that fails, and moving on.

That's not an easy list to create. I'd start by getting OD up, which is the easiest of the two. Most of the config files are in /etc, such as odbase.xml, odrcvr.xml, and odnodes.xml. I'd imagine you're running the base server along with Teamsite. The deployment configs will be in /conf, but you don't need to do anything with them to get the server up. If it is a base server, you'll need to get the OD Admin up to have a web interface.

For Teamsite, if you're running solaris, your main config file will be /etc/iw.cfg. If you have problems with anything other than the iw-store, tomcat, or the apache part of Teamsite, I'd try and disable it.

What I need to know is (which I should have said from the outset) are there any config or xml files, other than what I have listed above, that I need to be concerned about?

You've got pretty much all of the for OD (though there are some other ones, you probably won't need to muck with them unless the installation changed for some reason).

For TeamSite - there are a whole bunch of different configuration files that might be involved - I suggest you work your way through the various manuals, but a quick list would include those commonly found in iwhome/local/config, and iwhome/local/config/wft - UI customization in 6.x would lead you to iwhome/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/... and of course for FormsPublisher there are any number of DCT's and PT's that may be somewhere within the various branches of your content store(s).
