get name of DCR that has generated a HTML File

Hi,
there's a simple way to get the Name and the path of a DCR that has generate a specific File?

My goals are re-generate site map, news list pages and hide expired contents.

I'll going to use iwextattr.exe to set a new attribute called DCRPATH and, by putting some lines of code in TPL file, extract this information during regeneration workflow.

Any suggestions?

It depends if you are traversing your list of DCR or generated html files to create site index. For html files/DCR extended attribute are alread set at the time of creation and you can easily build the path using those attributes.

To expire content if expiry period of content is fixed then then you can take the creation date of content using file properties or using iwattrib command and then get the difference in date and if content is expired then you can decide if you want to display on site or not.

I dont think you need to set EA explicitly to achieve this until and unless you missed out to state something below.

you need to run a recursive script that would apply iwregen to every templated file.

I have a custom menu item for that...
