Cannot Find Another User's My Matters

I have been using the code from technote 52809 without a problem to find another user's My Matters folder. This used to work fine for new users that were added to the WorkSite system in dbAdmin, but had never logged in, if we logged in as that new user. The logging in process initialized the user's My Matters folder (among other things). Now this is no longer happening. Was this changed in 8.0.1 SP1?
