Upgrading TeamSite 5.5.2 to 6.7

I was wondering is there a way to jump from 5.5.2 to 6.7? I think we are running 5.5.2 (original-no service packs). If you can't make a direct upgrade, what do you need before you can go to 6.7?

Also, is there 1 document (not several) that lists all changes from 5.5.2 to 6.7?

Anything else I should know?

Regardless you will need mulitple steps. TS 5.5.2 needed an SP applied to go to 6.0. That is a minor change, but you will need to do it. Since 5.5.2 has been EOL (end of life) for over a year, the upgrade may work but likely has not been tested. I can say with almost certainty that there is no single doc articulating the differences.

You cant jump! Jokes aside, that is not a supported path. 5.5.2 SP6 ---> 6.5 SP2 ---> 6.7 is the supported path. I recommend you contact support to discuss this in detail.

I am not aware of any 1 document that lists all the changes between those two versions but there is one that talks about 5.5.2 and 6.0 and from 6.0 to 6.7 things have not changed a whole lot (there are obviously some differences).

aside from the upgrades that were mentioned above, you *might( need to change custom menu items (if any), some CGI tasks (if any). Also, depending on whether which Content Center your users will use, there might be more changes on the way.

So, if I were you, I would study the upgrade documentation that was created when version 6 was introduced.

You will see major difference with DataDeploy, no separate folder for that in 6.5 or later I guess. You have to deal with groups also in 6.7.

DataDeploy comes with OpenDeploy (as opposed to separate) - not TeamSite.
TS 6.7 doesn't require you to deal with TS Groups - it simple improves the management of them over what TS 6.5 provided - which is optional.
TS 6.7 does have configurable roles - and that is definitely different than all previous versions of TS.
