Teamsite Groups anyone using? feedback?

nico

I hate bugging our I.T. dept for a new domain group to be created each time i need one. I'm considering TS groups but would like to know how many people are actually using them and if there are any gotchas. Thanks for sharing.

We used TS groups at one of my past customer sites and I believe it's worked reasonably well since then (I'm no longer on the project there, but I don't recall hearing any horror stories)

From a management perspective though - I think you'd rather upgrade to 6.7(or higher) first since I believe the ability to manage TS groups has improved since its introduction in 6.5.

Hi Fish and all TS Gurus,
I see that you have used TS groups earlier. Just wanted to check if "We can have groups withing groups kind of situation when using TS groups"

Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks

Yes - you can nest groups within groups while using TeamSite Groups.. You can also next OS Groups within TeamSite Groups..
