File properties through CLT command

Through Teamsite GUI, I am unable to view file properties (File/Properties menu option). For example, after selecting a file (html, js etc.,), if I choose "File/properties" from the Teamsite GUI top navigation, the page is being refreshed but not showing the file property details. So is there way to find properties of a file through command line?

What version of TeamSite?
What platform?

In the past, I've seen issues like this occur on Windows if the users do not have read permissions on directories in the path where TeamSite was installed (e.g.: c:\, c:\iw-home, c:\iw-home\httpd, c:\iw-home\httpd\iw-bin)
