Getting Job Id + Task Id when the workflow is executing

I want to execute a perl script from my workflow task.
Input to this perl script will be job id,task id of the current task.

At run time how do i know the job is, task id .

I am basically trying to attach a file to a task at run time, using the following piece of code :

my $task = TeamSite::WFtask->new($task_id);
$task->AddFile('C:\indus.txt', 'Comments')

Please provide some sample code.

Is this an external task that you want to run? If so then there are countless examples on the Devent of how to do this.
If you're wanting to run it before the workflow starts - at instantiation time - then I don't think the Jobid or Taskid are created yet.

While executing any external or cgitask, by default wf passes 3 parameters to the script in order of JobID, TaskId and WkArea

my $jobid = $ARGV[0];
my $taskid= $ARGV[1];
my $area = $ARGV[2];

Also FYI, if you are passing any customised parameter along with your script then that value would be prefixed to these three default values.

my $param = $ARGV[0];
my $jobid = $ARGV[1];
my $taskid= $ARGV[2];
my $area = $ARGV[3];
