Hi,

Thanks in advance. I am trying to populate a select box B with respect to the value selected in the select box A. Can anyone tell a way to achieve this functionality?

Well, FormAPI can certainly accomplish the mechanics of what your describing. If it's a simple case of "choose A, then X, Y, Z are available. Choose B, and U, V, W are available" then it's pretty straightforward JavaScript code. If it's more complex (like you've got to do a database lookup based on the user's choice) then you'll need to get fancier, probably using the callServer method.

I suggest you read the FormAPI documentation.

Better yet - search the forums - because not too long ago (months) almost the same question was asked and there was a fairly detailed response the went through how to do it. The forums exist as an archive of information, users should first try to do their own research before [re-]asking the questions.

Hi Amresh,

You can leverage the sample code that comes with TeamSite.

I think its getLocations.ipl located under iw-home/httpd/iw-bin

The samples are located at iw-home/local/config

I am not too sure of the samples path, you can check at your end.
