getting permission denied error

Hi I am calling a java servlet using a callserver api.
Whenever I am parent.getScriptFrame(),I am getting a permission denied error.if i am removing the code starting with parent.getScriptFrame(),then it is not giving any error.
Any clue on what permission needs to be set??????

Perhaps you need

opener.parent.getScriptFrame()

? I've noticed myself needing to use with cgi-callouts from DCT forms - even though those are CGIs and running on the same server. If nothing else, it's worth eliminating as the potential cause of the problem.

Is it also a different domain? If "yes" and your browser is IE - there is nothing you can do.
MS cross-domain model prohibits this sort of things. You would have to redesign

I believe this is a W3C thing and if so, you would have this problem regardless of which browser you were using.

Thanks Dave. I also *beleive* that. However, as we are all aware that's just recommended specs. I was sure about IE, so played it safe
