Is there a way within the Open Deploy (5.6 SP1 and 6.1) to clean up the log files that are created via deployments? As well as setting a size limit to the specific logs files that are created by Open Deploy so they stay below a certain size?

Both of our Windows 2000 and AIX environments are running into issues with space and log files getting to be too large.

If you read the manuals you'll find that there is a way to set the threshhold for the max size of the various log files - however - I believe in at least one version (5.x / 6.0x?) of OD there was a problem on Windows where when the threshhold was reached the server failed to close and rename the existing log file in order to create the new one - don't remember which version and what official bug number that was though, sorry.

I believe there is no abilit to limit the number of rollover logs (beyond the default which I think is either 100 or 1000) however you can have the logfiles written to a different partition with more room - or, as many customers are doing these day, create a log-rotation script that compresses and/or deletes log files that are older than N days so as to keep the amount of space used for log files to a reasonably controlled value.
